Xtra Mile Ministries is an organization devoted to fulfilling the call set forth in James 1:27. We are based in Kigali, Rwanda, East Africa. God has called His people to care for those who are in need. There are many people who need food, clothing, support, and supplies. But most importantly, they are in need of a relationship with Jesus Christ and the support of a Christian family.

Life is full of unforgettable times, many of them tough ones. When I was studying in secondary school I went through a tough time, I did not have anyone to look after me or ask me about school. This problem came because I lost my family during genocide. I have tried hard ever since to forget this difficult time and be thankful that I am still alive.
